Snow tubing rocks (as long as there are no rocks)

Josh and I are at it again, and we have found a deal to break up the monotony of your week: free snow tubing! That's right, Gabby will be donning her metallic blue gaper outfit and joining the fine corporate members of Avis Rental Cars tomorrow, Wednesday March 11 from 6 to 8. Most likely we will do a few runs at Snow King after work, head over to 43N to chug some heady microbrew, then try not to ralph it up inside our snow tubes. No word on if they are checking your wizard numbers (Josh and I are Preferred Avis Customers), but I'm thinking with my eastern European onesie, they won't suspect that we are merely Jackson local poachers. Genius!

By the way, night skiing at Snow King has ceased to exist. Apparently there is some sort of "recession" and our "economy" isn't doing "well". That is according to the liftee with the sweet braided 'stache who works at the King. They won't be turning on the lights for the rest of the season in order to save green (double meaning: clever!), so your post-work skiing in town is limited to before 7 p.m. Unless you want to brave the Taco Bell Couloir.

Mark your calendar for some more free moments ahead: there are two receptions at the Center for the Arts this Friday. One is celebrating the new exhibit of corpses (we're not sure what that means yet) and the other highlights the re-opening of the art lab. Both provide wine, a petite keg, and snacks! Wahoo snacks!

Of course, free wings at the Q Saturday and Sunday. We will be there both nights; that is a promise.
