It's Green drinkin' time! One of this week's free drink events is located at the Habitat ReStore which just got ReDone. They are partnering with green drinks (see below a few blogs) to provide an opportunity for like-minded tree-huggin' hippies to gather, discuss, and feel classy. You're bound to feel a little classier (and hot-faced) after a few ORGANIC VODKA drinks. Hot diggity dog. Tonight, 5:30-7:30. Environmental activist Al Gore would be oh-so-proud.

Speaking of Mr. Gore, there is another free event at the Virginian auditorium, where they will be broadcasting a forum on Sustainable Global Enterprise from Cornell University. Al Gore (back to him) will be a member of it. Description as written on some website:
"At the forum, 100 pioneers will seek innovative ways to transform business and the environment, while exploring the intersection between clean technology and business development at the “Base of the Pyramid”, the socioeconomic designation of the world’s four and-a-half billion poor. The goal is to create profitable businesses that raise the quality of life for the world's poor, respect cultural diversity, and conserve the ecological integrity of the planet."
I'm thinking if you snuck in peanuts and beer nobody would care too much (it's the Virg, right?). Wednesday, 6p.m.
Question: Why can't you fellow poor 20-somethings get it in your head each week? We have an amazing chamber of commerce that fills our bellies with booze and food, and all you have to do is wear a nametag. This week it is hosted by the Grand Teton Music Festival at the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort store in Town Square. Be there or be square (and spending money at another lame happy hour).
I apologize for the happy hour remark. I love happy hour, especially when the words two-for-one are used in one sentence.
